Finding the perfect Mother’s Day gift is about choosing things that you just know will be loved, and that actually feel good to give.

Recently, I went on a mission to find myself a new yoga mat (a Mother’s Day gift to myself) which inspired me to share what I discovered and create this gift guide.  Below are some Mother’s Day gift ideas for the mothers in your life.

A beautiful & functional yoga mat. Every time I go to hot yoga, I wish I had a better mat, as mine has become thin as paper and doesn’t smell great! But then the day goes on and I forget about my thin mat until the next class. Well, no more. This weekend, I settled in for a long internet search to find a mat with good grip for hot yoga, made locally, and sustainably (non toxic materials). Many reviews and side-by-side comparisons later and voila, I narrowed it down to Supported Soul’s Pro Grip Yoga Mat (my choice!), the Liforme Yoga Mat, a UK-brand known for its alignment markers and the Manduka GRP Adapt Yoga Mat. All three are great options for a Mother’s Day gift.

Holistic skin products. A year ago, I shared a skincare product guide with top recommendations from the experts I follow, and it was one of the most clicked articles on Head + Heart. Pretty much all of the serums, hydrosols, rose oils, and balms would make a great skincare gift + Mother’s Day gift!

Vitruvi Stone Diffuser from Goop
It’s simple and stylish and would make a beautiful gift. Add an essential oil blend to make this Mother’s Day gift a “relaxation ritual”. Ooooh, yes.

Floral Makeup Bag from Etsy
On a recent roadtrip, my sister KimEli had one of these very cute floral makeup bags from Etsy, and I think this would make such a great Mother’s Day gift for the modern farmhouse moms, you know!

Marble Phone Stand
My friend Rosa bought me this for Christmas and I love it. It’s super functional for things like cooking or bedside podcasting. Classy, too.

Torno Modern Sand Terracotta Vase
This handcrafted sand terracotta vase would look so nice with fresh blooms or dried flowers – gorgeous Mother’s Day gift option.

The Mother Year, written by my friend the lovely Chelsey is a 365-day guiding light for new mothers navigating the early stages of motherhood. Would make an incredibly thoughtful gift.

Whether you’re buying for your mom, your sister, your best friend, or yourself (we all need to mother ourselves), I hope these ideas lead to a beautiful exchange of appreciation.
