Our second City Guide has arrived! We are just a wee bit excited to be diving into the very diverse and eclectic spiritual and wellness scene that is….
P O R T L A N D
Wow, if you live in Portland, I’m a little jealous. There are so many beautiful places to practice mindfulness meditation, so many very diverse yoga studios (Happy Hour is offered at more than one location, what?), and such a great wealth of teachers available (Caverly Morgan! Ashley Dahl!).
Here is our Portland Wellness Guide
Let’s get to it. Our top tips for exploring Portland’s wellness + spiritual scene are right here:
- Here we profile six of the best yoga studios in Portland, including The People’s Yoga, Yoga Refuge (studio seen here!) and Yoga To You PDX, which literally will bring yoga classes to YOU – plus offers an adorable studio space for private yoga. Oh, and they also offer Stand Up Paddleboard teacher training.
- Here’s a run down of six of the studios and teachers we’d recommend practising mindfulness meditation with, including the beloved Caverly Morgan, who introduced mindfulness meditation into the public school system via her credited Peace in Schools program, Ashley Dahl, who runs Open Space Mindfulness, offering community gatherings and Full Moon Mettas at beautiful spaces like Beam & Anchor and the very accessible Pause Meditation, where all are welcome to drop in for a sit, or dive into one of their programs to reap the benefits of mindfulness meditation.
- There are so many amazing upcoming breathwork ceremonies, shamanic gatherings, sound meditations and sound baths, and energy healing events to explore in Portland.
