April is the first month this year when all planets are direct, bringing a momentum that is divinely aligned with this season of Spring.
This month moves forward with a strong Aries energy that brings a sense of purpose, power and passion. This month brings the fuel we have been needing to move forward with projects, plans and what has been percolating under the surface during our winter season or even for years.
Aries Season
As the first sign of the Astrological wheel, Aries season offers us the journey to reconnect with self. Beyond the expectations of life, our outside influences, commitments and our loved ones. This is the season to reorient and recommit to our own path and what is calling us forward.
In this season we can witness the wisdom and courage it takes for the tender shoots to push through the soil, the buds to push through the branches, the new life that is being born, which means Nature is one of our greatest allies and wise teachers this season.
The questions to ask:
What does this invoke within us?
What can this season or renewal and rebirth teach us?
Knowing that not all gestures or steps have to be big, and that each step – as simple or minor as it may seem- has a huge impact on the direction our life takes.

April 1st | Full Moon in Libra at 12°, 7:11pm PDT
This Full Moon with the Sun in Aries and the Moon in Libra brings a powerful theme around the balancing between the needs of ourselves and the needs of others.
In Astrology, Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and is associated with the first house, the house of our identity, the ME, while Libra is associated with the 7th house, the house of relationships, the WE.
Bringing forth an awareness of how we can listen and honor where these two polarities meet and look within to find where an equilibrium is called for.
Aries, ruled by Mars, brings in the energy of fire, the initiator, bold and courageous and ready to blaze forward without holding back.
Libra, ruled by Venus, brings in the energy of air, the peacemaker, graceful and kind and here to deepen through relating and bringing what is not in alignment back into balance.

April 9th | Mars enters Aries at 12:36pm PDT
Mars, the planet of action moves into its home sign of Aries, a planet known for its directness and initiating nature. This may feel like the forward drive that we have been needing.
A sense of power, leadership and courage may be present in what we are feeling motivated by and the actions we are taking. While this fiery energy can be the spark that moves the needle forward, it can also bring an impulsive and impatient energy.
Asking us to keep planting our feet here in the ground so we don’t burn out and deplete our energy. Remembering that deep resource that comes through our own inner wellspring.
April 14th | Mercury enters Aries at 10:22pm PDT
When the fast moving planet Mercury enters fast moving Aries things may feel a little fiery!
This brings us the important opportunity to stop and think before we speak. To be mindful of how we respond rather than coming from a reactive place. This energy can be spontaneous, impulsive and direct which can be supportive in the right context. Though as with anything, the delivery and the power in which we wield this energy will alter the way in which it is received.
We may feel called to channel this energy into projects that have been wanting our attention though being mindful of this energy that can be quick to enthusiasm and just as quick to dissipate.
Support yourself with nervous system regulation. Take space to refuel yourself. Remember to plant your feet on the ground, drop into your breath and move your body.
April 17th | New Moon Aries at 27°, 4:51pm PDT
This is the first new moon of the Spring season and holds the energy of planting, cultivating and growing the seeds that will continue to flourish all year. This brings the energy of emergence, and stepping into a new cycle. Moving into the time of the year that is more outward and active as the natural world reawakens and begins to unfurl and flourish.
Aries is the Initiator, and inspires us to move forward with courage and confidence towards our dreams. We may really feel this as a deep inner drive fueling us forward, though note that the energy of Aries can be quick to initiate though lack the follow through to complete or move too fast until it burns out.
As we begin this new cycle, how can we create strong foundations from which to build upon, creating a forward motion from a place that aligns with our own inner rhythm. Knowing that we get to choose the pace for our lives.
Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac, connects to our personal journey and the statement associated with it is: “I AM”.

April 19th | The Sun enters Taurus at 6:39pm
From fiery passionate Aries, we move into grounded sensual Taurus, a time of slowing down and appreciating the effort that has got us here and the beauty that surrounds us.
An earth sign, known for its slow, steady and grounded nature, Taurus is devoted to creating a solid foundation from which to move forward . Knowing that when all its structures are in place, it can enjoy the fruits of its labours.
A sensual sign, this may be the time to savor the tangible gifts this life has to offer. Honoring the senses and body temple and receiving the vastness this human experience has to offer.
Taurus is a fixed sign meaning it occurs in the middle of the season. A time when things are more stable and fully flourishing. We can feel this at this time of year, the bees busy pollinating the blooming flowers, the leaves on the trees, bright green and vital. Life force bursting and present everywhere.
Here in this season we are reminded to root ourselves into the earth to receive the abundance and nourishment that is available to us and that we are worthy of. Remembering what it is to feel and deepen in reciprocity with the earth.
April 23rd | Venus enters Gemini at 9:04pm PDT
Venus, the divine feminine – connected to love, beauty, relating, and abundance – moves into fun loving Gemini, the Messenger and ruler of communication.
This is a good time to attune to how you communicate around love, relationships, finances and what may need to be spoken about.
It’s likely that this time will lluminate what may be working and what is not and how we can be more loving in the ways we connect with others.
Venus in Gemini likes to play and be free, so this could be a time when our curiosity is amplified to try new things, and meet new people. Perhaps even embodying another part of our own persona. Call on your inner muse to show you where you can bring more creativity and fun into your life!
April 25th | Uranus enters Gemini at 5:30pm PDT
Uranus moved into Gemini last July and after a brief retrograde now returns to Gemini where it will stay for the next 7 years until 2033.
This means that Uranus, the planet of radical awakening powerfully combines with Gemini, the planet connected to communication and transportation.
Offering a seven year cycle where the advancement of technology and the continued advancement in AI may feel that it’s moving faster than we can keep up with.
Gemini moves fast and reflects the way our minds process information. For the good of our mental well being, we may need to discern how much we are taking in, and how it’s impacting our nervous system.
With communication also being a central theme here, this is a great time to consider how to bring your voice and inner thoughts into the outer world. Writing and speaking are great tools for stepping more fully into alignment with your truth and attuning to the channel of wisdom that wants to come through.
Remembering that all of our voices matter.
