Working with a shaman
The work of shamanism, also known as Earth Medicine, is one of the most ancient approaches to spirituality and spans many traditions. The practices used in shamanism have the potential to bring huge energetic and heart openings, which is why it’s very important to carefully choose who you decide to work with. If you’re new to shamanism, we recently interviewed Angela Prider to bring you a 411 on what shamanism is and how it can support you. The shamanic lens is one of interconnection, meaning that every human being is innately connected with our ancestral lineage – the healing we come to do in this lifetime, is linked to inherited ancestral patterns – including healing ancestral trauma. With this, the understanding of soul loss is key to helping each of us connect with our most whole and unified selves in this lifetime. Whether you’re curious about exploring a workshop, a private session, a plant medicine ceremony or a plant medicine retreat, below are a few of the recommended shamans and shamanic practitioners.
