Starr Muranko creates supportive spaces where mothers of children with Trisomy 21 (T21) can breathe, connect, and feel truly understood. Through her work, she brings women together to share experiences, celebrate victories, and navigate the everyday challenges of raising a child with Down syndrome in a community rooted in compassion and mutual support.
For those seeking community and support, Starr offers group mentorship, along with one-on-one focused problem-solving sessions. These conversations can explore the big picture of a family’s needs or tackle specific challenges.
Creating safe and sacred spaces for community to gather, learn, and grow together has been Starr’s greatest joy for more than 25 years. Her background as an arts leader, community facilitator, and events coordinator has allowed her to nurture connection and belonging in many forms. She is honoured to now bring this lived experience to mamas of children with Downs Syndrome.
