You have been giving so much of yourself. It is easy to forget that you deserve to rest and receive too.
On October 10, we are gathering at Namastables for an afternoon in nature, surrounded by animals, open land and the changing season of the New Moon.
For four hours, there is nowhere you need to be and nothing you need to accomplish.
You will have time to walk the land, spend time with the animals, quiet your mind, enjoy a nourishing lunch and give your nervous system time to relax.
Guided by Jacqueline Wright and Jennifer Kanyumwa, this afternoon is an opportunity to slow down, step away from the demands of everyday life and make room for rest, reflection and creativity.
A slow walk through the land at Namastables, moving at the pace of the animals rather than the pace of your calendar.
There is something about being outdoors, surrounded by open sky and animals, that invites the body to soften. No rushing. No agenda. Just time to walk and notice what is around you.
Time spent near the animals at Namastables offers a different kind of presence.
They are not in a hurry. They are not checking the time or thinking about what comes next.
You will have time to simply be near them, observe them and experience the natural rhythm of the sanctuary.
A guided meditation outdoors, surrounded by the land and the sounds of the sanctuary, gives you space to quiet your mind and turn your attention inward.
Time away from the noise and stimulation of everyday life, allowing your nervous system to relax and your body to settle.
When the mind finally has some space, something interesting can happen. Ideas surface. Perspectives shift. You may notice something you had not seen before.
There will be space to reflect, journal and let your creativity move without needing to produce anything or arrive at an answer.
A nourishing lunch is included as part of the afternoon.
Take your time, enjoy the food and let the day unfold without rushing from one thing to the next.

Imagine spending a fall afternoon outside, walking through the pasture, being close to the animals, enjoying a nourishing meal and having time to let your mind become quiet.
With less noise, there is often more room for what has been waiting underneath it: a new idea, a fresh perspective, a creative spark, or simply a sense of peace.
That is what this day is for.
Spaces are limited to keep the group intimate and allow you to fully settle into the experience.
Come spend the day at Namastables.
