It’s as simple as this: When you have a business guided by soul whispers you have the potential for a wildly successful business. 

The most successful businesses are inspired from soul whispers, even if they didn’t know that is where it came from.

Think Sara Blakley, Steve Jobs, Arianna Huffington … In all of these founder’s stories are the whispers and inner knowings that led to their visions and execution. 

And, the more every decision is in alignment with your soul – whether you are starting, scaling, or soaring – the more success you will experience, not to mention ease, grace and flow (v.s. stress, strain and struggle).

Sure, you can find some or even much success without alignment.  However eventually things will go sour… your health, your relationships, your integrity…your P&L.

So, if you are ready to create a wildly successful business truly in alignment with your soul, read on… 

In my experience being a business coach for over ten years and having started many companies, YYoga, Canada’s largest yoga community, with 13 locations at its height, Nectar Juicery -an organic, cold pressed juice company focused on elevating modern nourishment, and so on,  what I know for sure is this: the real magic and success happens when a business grows from the soul whispers. 

YYoga as an example. I not only had visions when I was a little girl; the first time I practiced yoga, I had flashbacks to those visions, and then just before my grandma passed, and she asked me what I wanted my legacy to be, and I was again flooded with powerful visions of what YYoga would grow into being. 

Like many founders, I was given visions of what could be, and it was up to me to become the person that could bring the vision into reality. 

It may have taken years, but I slowly or quickly, however you may look at it, stepped into becoming a Soulful CEO, capable of executing the vision I had been given. 

As you are on your own journey of entrepreneurship, know a wildly successful business begins with YOU.  

And the first place to start a soul-aligned business is by BECOMING.

Becoming the highest version of you…Becoming a Soul Aligned Leader: Becoming a Soulful CEO. 

As you BECOME the highest version of yourself, you will be operating in flow, with clarity, readiness, and momentum. 

How do you know you are leading from alignment and actually being a Soulful CEO?

The characteristics of a Soulful CEO: 

  • Navigates with love over fear
  • Navigates with abundance over scarcity
  • Navigates with ease, grace and flow over stress, staring and struggle
  • Navigates with trust and flow over hustle and hurry
  • Navigates what is essential over non-essential 
  • Navigates with love in everything they do, with a focus on holistic impact, real win-wins! 

Quick litmus test: How many of the above can you say you do on a daily basis? 

You may answer all,  you may answer none…in my experience there is alway room for expansion.

But HOW?

How do we become more of a Soulful CEO?

And how do we navigate with love over fear, abundance over scarcity, ease grace and flow, and so on….

The first step is this: A Soulful CEO needs to be in the “right” STATE, and to know how to get into the right state.

There are many ways to get into STATE:  breathwork, yoga, meditation, prayer, dance, energy work, nature, the list goes on…And you can do so on your own, in community or with amazing guides.  BTW, Head+ Heart is a great resource for discovering recommended healers and practitioners and experiences.  

On a daily basis, before you are about to start your day, or a big project.. try this inquiry:

A daily Inquiry to support business alignment

  • What is my current STATE?  
  • How do I  feel on a scale of 1-10? 
  • If it is anything below an 8, STOP & RESET!!! Use some of the above practices to help you re-set into a state that aligns with who you need to be, to create your vision.
  • This is a great inquiry to use before important meetings, the beginning of projects and more. 

After creating a daily habit BEING in the right STATE, here are more actions to activate your alignment as a Soulful CEO.

Six steps to activate greater business alignment

  • Crafting an “I am statement” of your future self
  • Cultivating your intuition
  • Understanding your own unique beliefs and values 
  • Knowing your personal vision 
  • Crafting your unique, personalized Soul Statement
  • Upleveling your own integrity, bravery, and boundaries

This is a big list of ‘being’ actions! And, as you begin to go deeper with this work you will come to realize, as I do, that the more you focus on the BEING, the more the DOING becomes easier. 

And, it is much like exercise, the harder/more effective you are in the “gym” the easier your body moves out of the gym…. the more you do this personal soulful work, the more ease, grace and flow you’ll get to experience not only in your business but also in your life.
