About

Mikaela Millington is a yoga and conscious living guide, movement teacher, retreat leader, and founder of Evolve Yoga Retreats . Since 2019, she has been leading intentionally curated retreat experiences around the world, hosting 7 to 8 retreats annually throughout Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Portugal.

With over a decade of teaching experience and a background in Bhakti Vinyasa Yoga, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Meditation, hands-on assists, and more recently Pilates, Mikaela’s approach blends movement, self awareness, reflection, and meaningful connection. Her teaching is rooted in the philosophy of “living your yoga,” inviting students to carry the practice beyond the mat and into everyday life.

Known for creating warm, intentional, and community-centered spaces, Mikaela’s retreats weave together thoughtfully themed yoga practices, journaling, workshops, ceremonies, adventure and group connection to support real growth, self-discovery, and embodied presence. Her work is inspired by the belief that healing and transformation happen through authentic connection, vulnerability, curiosity, and shared experience.

Core Offerings

  • Mikaela Millington has been creating and leading intentionally curated wellness retreats since 2019, hosting 7 to 8 retreats each year in destinations including British Columbia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Portugal through Evolve Retreats. Rooted in the philosophy of “living your yoga,” these experiences explore the many pathways yoga offers for personal growth through intentional practice, self-inquiry, mindfulness, connection, and shared experience. Each retreat is thoughtfully designed to go beyond daily yoga classes, weaving together themed practices, group circles, workshops, nature, and adventure to create space for reflection, expansion, and deeper connection both on and off the mat.
  • Mikaela Millington teaches from a place of authenticity, connection, and deep care, creating spaces where students feel supported to explore a practice that is uniquely their own. With over a decade of teaching experience and training in Bhakti Vinyasa Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Meditation, hands-on assists, and more, along with recently incorporating Pilates into her offerings over the past five years, her classes thoughtfully weave together movement, breath, mindfulness, philosophy, and reflection in a way that feels both grounding and inspiring. At the heart of her teaching is the belief that community matters, vulnerability is powerful, and that there is something deeply healing about moving, learning, and growing together.
