About

I’m Jennifer Jayne — though most people call me JJ — and I’m a Sustainable Growth Strategist, community builder, relationship-driven entrepreneur, and the founder of the Fempreneur Collective. At the heart of everything I do is one core belief:

Sustainable growth is not built alone.

I believe businesses grow best through relationships, community, strategic execution, accountability, and building in a way that actually honors real life. Not hustle culture. Not burnout. Not “go viral and hope for the best.” Real, sustainable, long-term growth that continues moving forward even when life gets messy, energy fluctuates, or the algorithm decides to throw a tantrum.

My work focuses on helping ambitious women entrepreneurs create relationship-driven momentum through strategic support systems, collaborative environments, and consistent execution. I’m passionate about helping women stop spinning their wheels, stop trying to carry their entire business alone, and start building businesses that feel stable, sustainable, and deeply aligned with their core values.

Because honestly? I think too many brilliant women are quietly struggling under the weight of trying to do everything themselves.

And I know that feeling personally.

My Entrepreneurial Journey

My entrepreneurial journey began back in 2011 when I started a lifestyle blog during the very early days of blogging and influencer culture. At the time, I was living in Texas, feeling isolated, disconnected, and craving creative expression and connection. Blogging became an outlet — but more importantly, it became a gateway into community.

I started connecting with other bloggers, building relationships, and creating spaces for people to gather and support one another long before online community-building became a business buzzword. Those relationships changed the trajectory of my life and career.

That blogging journey eventually evolved into Virtual Assistance, Social Media Management, content strategy, and business consulting. By 2017, I had scaled my business beyond six figures and gained firsthand experience in what happens when strategy, execution, relationships, and visibility align.

But life doesn’t always follow a straight line.

In 2020, after leaving an unhealthy marriage and rebuilding my life from the ground up, I moved back to Canada and began restructuring not only my business — but my entire definition of success.

That season taught me something I now carry into every room, every community, and every offer I create:

Relationships are the thing that keep us moving forward when everything else feels uncertain.

The people in my corner helped me rebuild my life, my confidence, my business, and my future. That experience shaped the entire philosophy behind the work I do today.

What I Believe About Business Growth

I don’t believe sustainable business growth comes from endlessly chasing trends, consuming more information, or trying to “hack” your way into success.

I believe sustainable growth is built through:

  • Strategic relationships
  • Core values alignment
  • Consistent execution
  • Accountability
  • Community support
  • Long-term thinking
  • Emotional resilience
  • Visibility rooted in authenticity
  • Collaboration over competition

I believe the right room can change your business faster than another course ever will.

I believe accountability is a revenue strategy.

I believe momentum compounds when your goals are witnessed and supported by people who genuinely want to see you win.

And I believe women entrepreneurs deserve spaces where they can grow without sacrificing themselves in the process.

That philosophy is the foundation of everything I’ve built under the Fempreneur Collective umbrella.

The Fempreneur Collective

The Fempreneur Collective is the umbrella community and ecosystem I’ve created for women entrepreneurs who are ready for sustainable, relationship-driven growth.

At its core, the Fempreneur Collective exists to help women stop building alone.

This isn’t a performative networking space where everyone drops links and disappears. It’s a collaborative business community rooted in connection, momentum, accountability, and long-term growth.

Inside the Fempreneur Collective, women entrepreneurs gain access to strategic conversations, collaborative opportunities, networking events, accountability-driven spaces, and supportive environments where they can grow both personally and professionally.

The mission behind the Fempreneur Collective is simple:

To create rooms where women entrepreneurs feel supported, challenged, connected, and empowered to build businesses that actually last.

Everything I create — from Flourish Circles to She Owns the Feed to the Flourish Retreat — exists to support that larger vision.

Flourish Circles

Flourish Circles are small, curated accountability and growth circles for women entrepreneurs who are ready to stop talking about what they want to build and start consistently moving toward it.

These circles combine strategic support, accountability, collaborative problem-solving, relationship-building, and sustainable execution in a way that helps women create real momentum in their business.

Because the truth is: most entrepreneurs don’t fail because they lack ideas.

They stall because they’re trying to carry everything alone.

Inside Flourish Circles, women are surrounded by other ambitious entrepreneurs who understand the power of consistency, follow-through, accountability, and being in the right room.

These aren’t massive coaching containers where people disappear into the background. They are intentionally intimate spaces where people are seen, supported, challenged, encouraged, and celebrated.

The goal isn’t hustle.

The goal is sustainable momentum that compounds over time.

She Owns the Feed

She Owns the Feed is my Skool-based content and visibility community designed to help women entrepreneurs simplify content creation, stay visible consistently, and stop overthinking every piece of content they post online.

Because let’s be honest — most women entrepreneurs do not need more information about content marketing.

They need support around execution.

Inside She Owns the Feed, we focus on sustainable visibility, strategic content creation, momentum-building, and making content feel more approachable, aligned, and manageable.

I teach content strategy through the lens of sustainable growth — meaning we prioritize consistency, relationship-building, and strategic visibility over burnout-inducing content demands.

This space is designed to help women stop endlessly consuming and start confidently creating.

Less perfectionism.
Less spiraling.
More execution.

The Flourish Retreat

The Flourish Retreat is one of the most exciting visions I’ve brought to life.

Hosted in the Canadian Rockies, the Flourish Retreat is a relationship-driven business retreat for women entrepreneurs who crave deeper conversations, strategic support, meaningful collaboration, and real-life connection.

This is not a stiff corporate conference.

And it’s not a fluffy “just manifest harder” retreat either.

It’s a space where ambitious women gather to think bigger, collaborate deeply, strengthen their businesses, create momentum, and build relationships that continue long after the retreat ends.

There’s something incredibly powerful about putting women in the same physical room and giving them permission to dream bigger together.

The Flourish Retreat combines strategy, community, accountability, collaboration, creativity, and connection in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

And honestly? It’s also part of a much bigger long-term dream.

The Bigger Vision

One day, I want to own my own retreat space in the Canadian Rockies.

Not just a venue — a true experience-driven sanctuary for entrepreneurs, creativity, collaboration, rest, growth, and meaningful connection.

A place where women can gather to build businesses, create art, reconnect with themselves, and feel deeply supported.

And alongside that dream?

I also dream of opening a nonprofit animal rescue.

Because if you know me at all, you know I have a deep love for animals and an ongoing joke that my true goal in life is to legally acquire as many pets as my rental agreements will allow. I currently have two dogs and two cats, and honestly, if society would allow me to casually adopt a small petting zoo, I probably would.

Animals, creativity, community, and meaningful relationships are some of the biggest threads woven throughout my life.

Who I Am Outside of Business

Outside of business strategy and entrepreneurship, I’m deeply creative at heart.

Creativity isn’t optional for me — it’s part of who I am.

Whether it’s hand embroidery, polymer clay jewelry, coloring, writing, crafting, experimenting with new hobbies, building cozy spaces, or planning a wildly whimsical flower-crown era of life, I believe creativity keeps us connected to ourselves.

I’m also deeply passionate about building businesses that support actual living.

Not businesses that consume us whole.

I want women to build businesses that allow for:

  • joy
  • rest
  • creativity
  • relationships
  • meaningful work
  • flexibility
  • sustainability
  • real life

Because success should feel expansive — not exhausting.

At the end of the day, my work is about helping women entrepreneurs create sustainable momentum, meaningful relationships, and businesses that continue moving forward long after the excitement of the newest trend fades away.

Because the businesses that last are rarely built alone.
