I’m Erica. I help people with their bodies — through manual therapeutic touch and movement education rooted in anatomy, human developmental patterns, and a working knowledge of anatomy, how the body is formed and how it adapts. I want people to live their lives more fully, feel more connected to their bodies, and have less pain. And I want to give them tools they can actually use: for self-regulation, health management, and aging with grace and agency.
I founded Fairview Osteopathy in 2020 after completing my osteopathy training in 2019 at the Canadian School of Osteopathy Manual Practice — where I won the Coup de Coeur award for my thesis on manual osteopathy and olfactory dysfunction.
My path into body work began long before the clinic. I trained as a classical ballet dancer and performed internationally for over 30 years. I’ve been teaching movement since I was young — and that foundation, deeply practical and deeply embodied, shapes everything about how I work with clients today.
I studied the Feldenkrais Method® in Paris from 2001–2006 and hold Level 1/2 and 3 certification in ELDOA™. My approach is rooted in the nervous system.
Right now, my continuing education is focused on embryology. Understanding how the body is formed gives me profound insight into why people hurt — and how to help.
When I’m not in the clinic or the classroom, you’ll find me in the garden, on a ski hill, casting a line, or happily being an aunt.
