For nearly a decade, Head + Heart has connected thousands of people with trusted wellness practitioners, experiences, and resources. In 2026, we have felt called to extend our vision of wellness to support survivors of trafficking and the frontline workers who walk alongside them every day.
Trafficking is a global industry that continues to remain mostly hidden, and profoundly damaging to women and children. As a wellness community, supporting this population feels like an important evolution of our mission.
Using the fees from our Directory Membership, we are coming alongside a local front-line organization, giving both funding support as well as access to holistic healing experiences that are typically out of reach due to resource limitations.
With the support of our growing network of wellness practitioners, wellness spaces, and our broader community of readers, we’re building a community impact initiative that brings healing supports to survivors of trafficking in recovery AND frontline workers experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma.

We’re creating a trusted network of trauma-informed practitioners, facilitators, wellness spaces, and retreat providers who would like to support this work. We are in the process of creating a menu of wellness experiences (examples above) that our partner organizations can choose from as needed. Practitioners will be compensated through a fund we’re creating, and there will also be opportunities for those who wish to contribute services through donation. APPLY HERE
Beginning June 20th, all new practitioner memberships will contribute directly to this initiative, with 30% of membership fees supporting both fundraising efforts and wellness experiences for our community partners and the people they serve.
