Leaders Lounge is YVR Creatives’ signature monthly meet-up for growth-minded women building businesses, brands and meaningful work across the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver.

It’s a place to step away from the day-to-day of running your business and spend intentional time connecting, learning and thinking about what comes next.

Each month brings together a welcoming group of entrepreneurs for genuine conversation, practical learning and focused support. You’ll have the opportunity to talk about what you’re building, learn from an experienced guest and connect with women who may become collaborators, referral partners, clients and trusted business allies.

What to Expect at Leaders Lounge

We’ll start by connecting

Grab a coffee, settle in and catch up with women you already know, or meet someone new.

Our community is genuinely warm and welcoming. If you arrive alone, you won’t be left standing by yourself wondering who to talk to. Promise.

You’ll have the opportunity to share what you’re building

We begin each Leaders Lounge with our signature Founder Spotlights, giving every woman the opportunity to share:

• Who she is
• What she’s building
• How the group can support her

This is often where the most valuable connections begin. The woman sitting across from you might know your next client, have the answer to something you’ve been stuck on or be building something that fits beautifully with your work.

And if introducing yourself to a group of women makes you break out in a cold sweat, I’ve been there. Public speaking still isn’t my favourite thing.

That’s why I’m so proud of how encouraging the women of YVR Creatives are. Leaders Lounge is a safe place to practise using your voice, become more comfortable talking about your work and be supported while you do it.

We’ll learn together

Each month, we welcome a special guest to lead a practical conversation around a topic that matters to women in business.

We’ll turn what we’ve learned into action

After the session, we break into smaller groups to explore how the ideas apply to our own businesses.

This is your opportunity to ask questions, talk through what you’re considering and get support identifying your next step.
