Live + Virtual Sound Meditations Around Seattle

Sound meditation is a beautiful meditation alternative, drawing on the physical vibrations of sound to help you connect more deeply into your own body. If you’re in the Seattle area, here are four place we’d recommend to explore sound healings, gong baths and crystal bowl meditations.

1. Seattle Sound Temple

Seattle Sound Temple offers weekly community sounds baths, private, one-on-one sound healing sessions and private group sound bath sessions, all with the Temple’s owner and sound healing practitioner, Irene Ingalls.

2. Sound Baths at Ritual House Seattle

At Ritual House in the heart of Seattle, known for it’s great vibe, you’ll find regular sound baths led by Daniella White. She’s known for her great healing abilities, and energy healing infusions. She’s also a Reiki Master and past life regression coach.

3. Sound Baths at 8 Limbs Yoga

Join Megan Sloan at 8 Limbs for a soothing sound meditation. What to expect? Each sound bath will open with a short introduction to the crystal bowls. You’ll then be guided through some small, reclining movements to help the body begin to unwind. Students will then be invited into a supported savasana (a reclining position with the support of yoga props), during which Megan will guide you through a Yoga Nidra practice, a guided meditation designed to help the nervous system relax and the body move toward a state of deeper rest. The evening will end with more crystal bowls.

4. Sound Meditation at Seattle Yoga Arts

A Seattle yoga institution, Seattle Yoga Arts is a great place to discover yoga and many other experiences that go beyond yoga. Every month, they offer Sound Baths with Nicole Bratt + Amber West that provide a “journey of deep relaxation and healing”. These classes include a 90-minute Restorative yoga practice with an immersive crystal bowl sound bath. Details here.
