“Yoga for Joint Release” is a 6-week online course to restore and enhance the health and freedom of your joints through accessible movement, breath, and relaxation practices.
Each class incorporates gentle warm-ups, a seated and standing joint release sequence, and a lying down relaxation / body scan. The joint release sequence we will practice each week was adapted from the “Pawanmuktasana Anti-Rheumatic Series,” a series developed to improve and alleviate arthritic symptoms, and is research-supported.
In this course we’ll focus on moving mindfully and paying attention to the unique needs of our individual bodies and joints. You’ll be given the option to practice at a slow and steady pace or at a more vigorous pace, depending on your preference. You don’t need any prior experience to benefit from this practice and to improve your overall wellbeing.
