About the facilitator
My name is Katrina Grabner. I live as a visitor on the unceded Ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, the Squamish, Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and Musqueam Nations, also known as Vancouver, BC, Canada. I work towards self-awareness of my own role in colonization and am committed to the daily work of being a co-conspirator and ally in decolonization.
I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Spirtuality with a specialization in Art Therapy (qualifying period for CCC & BCATA registration). I work full time as a trauma therapist supporting adults and children. I am passionate about creativity and the power of the arts to support us in our healing journeys. As someone on their own journey of healing and growth, I honour your courage and the path that has brought you here. I practice from a collaborative, attachment based, trauma aware, somatically informed, arts centred, anti-oppressive framework.
