Join Deborah Savran of Seattle Well-Being at the studios of Salsa con Todo for “Todo Tuesdays” – a weekly lunchtime meditation. The event runs for 45 minutes every Tuesday at noon. We will bring in a weekly theme to support personal development and deepening in awareness together, and practice simple, practical and deeply relaxing meditation and sound healing techniques – all in beautiful, supportive environs. It is a great way to take time for yourself and have a little connection “reboot” in your work week. Come for the meditation, stay for lunch at one of Seattle’s coolest cafes – the wonderful Cafe con Todo.

The purpose of this tradition of meditation is to re-connect and deepen your connection with yourself. This approach of “bodyfullness” helps us rein in the mind, allowing it to be with the activities of the body, rather than the mind running the show. It also supports us to develop a foundational relationship with the quality of gentleness in how we breathe and go about our day. Being gentle with ourselves is something we can choose at any time. It is a bridge back to true connection and builds the foundation to be more gentle with others as well. These meditation practices, as well as the sound healing techniques, are always reminding us to come back to ourselves, to seek nowhere but within us for the ‘answers.’ When practiced regularly, these simple, no-nonsense tools of development help us build a foundation of conscious presence in our daily life, and over time deepen into something even greater than gentleness – a stillness, an enjoyment of the soul-full loveliness which lies within us.

Cost: $6
Bring a yoga mat, blanket and water bottle (we have some extras if you forget!).
