Start your practice with our beginner-friendly, 6 week Intro to Yoga Series. Guided by senior instructor and Trap Vinyasa™ founder Abiola Akanni, this series helps you connect to the fundamentals of the physical yoga practice in a safe, inclusive and community-driven space. We’ll move through postures with little to no resistance, using supportive props and traditional pranayama exercises. Unlike our Trap Vinyasa™ classes, the Intro to Yoga Series features no music. No prior yoga or fitness experience required.
This is for underrepresented populations and communities looking to start their yoga practice in an inclusive space and/or individuals who have been looking to start their practice but have not found a yoga studio or movement facility they feel supported in.
