30 Min. Mind + Body Refresh (Somatics and Restorative Yoga)

With many of us are working from home these days, it can be challenging to feel like you have a healthy work-life balance.

This class is designed to fit into your busy day, and make it feel easy to set aside 30 minutes for yourself at least once a week to replenish your mind and body.

In these classes we’ll practice some calming breathwork, gentle somatic exercises to counter the effects of seated desk work, and a lovely restorative yoga pose that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to continue with your day.

If the timing of the livestream class doesn’t work with your schedule, you don’t have to miss out! All classes are recorded and available to access after the live recording date. Every recording will have a brief description of the class and exercises, so you can choose which one sounds best for your needs.

These classes are a fantastic way to start or end your day as well, so be sure to take advantage of the recordings that way.

You’ll need:

– A quiet space to practice
– a comfortable place to lie down
– yoga bolster or 2 medium sized pillows
– blanket

About the Instructor:

Tania Clarke spent most of my mid-20s to mid-30s in chronic pain due to a shoulder injury, however she loved movement so much that she trained to teach yoga, fitness and Pilates. Sadly, her chronic shoulder injury forced her to pause. During this time, she learned so much about myself physically, emotionally and spiritually. Meditation and a slow movement practice of somatic yoga healed her body and led her to learning more about Hanna Somatic Movement, which is now her focus as a movement educator, which she combines with Restorative Yoga for the ultimate total mind and body relaxation experience.
