The marking of cycles and of seasons is something we have done as human-beings since the beginning of time. Our Ancestors put their time, energy and focus into charting this passing of time with such exquisite accuracy and care. Cultures throughout the world have found different ways to honour the passing of time, to gather with intention, to celebrate, to witness and to be witnessed.
Here at C7Rays it is one of the our favourite ways in which to connect with our global community – to thoughtfully be able to gather people from around the world to honour the Solstices and Equinoxes. To work with the energy of these powerful portals and passages of time to be more in flow and harmony within our own lives.
Traditional Indigenous knowledge provides a blueprint and map for us from which to navigate these times. With teachings, rituals and practices that allow us to pause in the moment and connect to what is occurring both in our micro lives here on Mother Earth and in the Cosmic weavings of the macro. What a gift.
In the Andes, the June Solstice is also the start of the Andean New Year and is a significant marking of time to give gratitude and reflect on all that has passed, and to plant seeds for the future. This time of year also marks the beginning of the harvest season and celebrates the source of life and our Divine origins. It is also a time to honour the energy of Father Sun through the colourful Inti Raymi Festival held in Cusco each June 24th.
We will begin this community celebration with a traditional opening prayer and flow into Andean teachings connected to this time of the year and to the energy of Father Sun, the Fire Suyu teachings, and to rebirth and celebration. We will complete our time with a beautiful guided meditation and healing process to support us in feeling centred, grounded and connected.
On behalf of Jhaimy and the C7Rays community we invite you to join us for a beautiful online gathering in honour of the Solstice and the Andean New Year
We would love to have you in the circle as our guest, no experience necessary, come as you are.
This is a live-in the moment experience on zoom – but a recording will be available and emailed to you within 24hours.
